These courses are designed to help parents build important life skills and family literacy by strengthening fundamental competencies related to positive parenting, effective communication skills, improved personal and interpersonal skills, decision-making and problem-solving skills, creative and critical thinking, reflection, self-awareness, and family resilience.

Elder support, ceremony and Indigenous ways of knowing and being are integrated into program offerings, and invite participants to develop resilience through community connection. Services are participant-informed, and so program activities and supports are adjusted based on need.
